Full Node

A node is a computer that is connected to the Bitcoin network. If the node fully enforces all the rules of Bitcoin, it is known as a “full node”.

A “full node” must download every block and transaction that has ever taken place on the network. When a new block or transaction is created, it’s the full nodes that check they have been created in full compliance with the network’s consensus rules.

Any transaction or block that violates the rules is rejected.
