Satoshi Nakimoto is the name of the unknown creator of Bitcoin. When he created the original rules for the program, he communicated via messenger and email; after the software was released in 2009, he disappeared 2 years later.
Satoshi Nakimoto was (and still) remains anonymous. There is heavy speculation on Who is Satoshi Nakimoto, some of the people linked with him:
- 64-year-old Japanese-American citizen by the name of Dorian Nakamoto, (but that information was finally denied and Dorian Nakamoto is not the creator of Bitcoin).
